The first part startED at 8:00AM and addressed business relating to the operation of the league next year.

There was a break.

Following the break the meeting continued with business for the current year.

NEW BUSINESS

Meetings for next year

It was decided to hold meetings starting at 1:00 PM at a site near the Madison I-80 Corridor. Al Hooker will locate a site and present to the Athletic Board at the January meeting for approval.

Starting times

For all afternoon sports game times was established at 3:30 during standard time and 4:00 during daylight savings time. An exception was made for soccer and golf. Both sports will start at 3:00 for the month of October.

All Conference Policy

A committee composed of Dean Perkins, Jorie Baer and Jill Bennett was established to review the cureent league by-law on all conference awards and to bring a proposal to the January Athletic Board for a first reading.

Sports by-laws

Each sports by-law was reviewed, modifications were made and all will be forwarded to the Athletic Board Meeting in January. Revisions will be posted on the web site.

SECTION & STATE ITEMS

A discussion of the progression of the Section Football Camps rule

Further discussion relating to sponsored events. All events must be sponsored by a high school, all monies routed through their student body account. The concensus was that it was good practice to never send a check to any organization other than a school.

OTHER

Hugh Hunter explained West Campus' non-involvement in the Nor Cal Soccer tournament.
